Problem: Mikhail Epelman, an internationally recognized custom jewelry designer needed a print brochure that did more than just display his exquisite work. He needed to make a statement about his artistic sensibilities.
Solution: I used photographic images of the client's native St.Petersburg, lightly screened in the background to reinforce his artistic heritage. The jewelry was limited to 3 pieces per page to respect its high value. I photographed each individual piece and composed them on the pages with light shadows to bring the jewelry forward. The traditional backgrounds were balanced by modern and elegant typography. I included a portrait of the client with dramatic studio lighting and a biography to further lend personality to the communication. A premium matte finish paper further distinguished this brochure. Please feel free to click on the individual images for enlargement.
