Problem: Create a sell sheet for a very large engine block transport machine. Must cover in one shot and must remove the distracting background of the shop where the machine is built.
Solution: I shot this image with wide angle optics from a lift basket positioned almost within the steel rafters or the plant. The machine was extracted from the background with the pen tool in Photoshop, a semi abstract background was substituted, The color and perspective were corrected and the customer's logo was inserted. Final image was over 100 megapixels, covering just about any possible use.
